We started the day with a cool 58 degrees on the road to a high of 80. For months now I’ve spent the better part of every day sitting at the computer. I’ve either been randomly pointing the mouse here and there, dozing off, listening to music or looking to see if someone might have commented on a post. I think today will be different.
Traditionally today is the first day of spring. An old man’s fancy turns to thoughts of his lawn. Due mostly to my not getting my old bones loosened up and maintaining it winter has not been kind. The hedges are ragged, the roses are half dead and the corners are not groomed at all. Today I shall begin adjusting the settings and reset them to the default condition. Our son John came over the other day and brought his chainsaw attatchment for weed eater and cut high palm frons.
Today I will attempt to resurect the roses and dig up a couple of areas for flowers.
I hope to see a comment or two. Mom was wondering if you saw the one about the chess set and table. Well thats all for this time.
